College Assurance is a financial services organization that provides life and tuition reimbursement insurance for college students as well as alumni. With the cost of education increasing each year we recognize the value of a great education. Currently 80% of the students in college today are on financial aid and upon graduation will have a loan payback period anywhere from 10 to 15 years after they graduate.
In one way or another, this market that serves approximately 20 million students of which nearly 14 million are full time will have a cosigner involved with their loan. And in some cases with certain financial institutions loan forgiveness does not exist, when death or disability of the student takes place, for the cosigner.
